Comprehensive Foot Examinations
At your first appointment, we undertake a painless, comprehensive foot examination to evaluate the health of your feet and identify any potential problems. We use the latest diagnostic tools and techniques to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Your first appointment, including detailed assessment, is £40.00
Follow-up appointments are £35.00
Care Homes £30.00 per person.
Two or more per household £30.00 per person.
A complimentary foot massage is offered at every home visit.
Nail Cutting
We cut and file toe nails, clear debris from the sides and under nails, and will reduce thickened nails with the use of a nail drill.
Corn and Callus Removal
Corns, callus and hard skin can cause painful discomfort and alter your mobility. We are trained to safely relieve the pressure and put you comfortably back on your feet.
Verruca Treatment
We use a product called Verrutop to treat verrucae. It has a success rate of 80% to 90%. This treatment is suitable for persons over 6 years old.
Fungal Nail Treatment
There are various treatment options available for fungal nails, depending on the severity of the infection. These will be discussed with you on consultation.
Diabetic Foot Care
If you have diabetes, quality foot care is highly recommended.
We provide knowledgeable care for clients with diabetes, including regular foot checks, advice, and education about foot care.
Onward Referral
Where appropriate, we can provide onward referrals to a podiatrist or the NHS for nail surgery, diabetic wound care, or biomechanical solutions.
Terms & Conditions
By using Step Well Foot Care, we guarantee that all foot healthcare services shall be provided by a qualified practitioner. As such, continual professional development shall be undertaken. All practitioners operating under the umbrella of Step Well Foot Care shall be fully insured by an appropriate body with public liability cover of no less than £1 million.
Step Well Foot Care practitioners are able to assess, diagnose and treat an array of podiatric conditions. Should a situation arise where a condition is outside the practitioner's scope of practice or knowledge base, a referral may be suggested to seek additional specialist assistance. The referral shall be discussed and consented to by the client, and either made on behalf of the client, or the client may self -refer.
Some treatments require the use of sharp instruments including scalpels, nippers, metal files and nail drills. Whilst every effort is made to ensure no harm is caused with the use of such instruments, occasionally a small cut may occur and cause a localized bleed to the area.
Our pricing is in line with current regional and national private sector pricing.
Our price structure allows the service to be financially viable and provide value for money.
Step Well Foot Care reserve the right to review prices annually.
Verruca and Fungal Nail Treatment prices are available on consultation.

We will liaise with you to confirm appointments requested via email.
When booking home visits, please specify if parking is available and if there are any potential difficulties accessing the property.
Our practitioners carry large, heavy treatment bags. Should there be excessive difficulty accessing the property, i.e. lots of steps, uneven pathways or intimidating dogs, this may prevent treatment being provided.
Should this information not be provided prior to appointment so adaptations can be made, a full fee shall still be payable for the appointment.
Cancellations
Step Well Foot Care request that we receive 24 hours notice by telephone should you be unavailable for your appointment.
In the event of failure to notify us within 24 hours, an invoice for full payment will be issued.
Whilst we do acknowledge that some situations are unavoidable, it is at the sole discretion of Step Well Foot Care to waive the fee.
Step Well Foot Care take it very seriously if a practitioner is treated in an abusive or violent manner.
Our practitioners aim to behave with professionalism and any aggressive behaviour directed at them may result in Police contact.
